The most historical and culturally impressive structure in Ukulhas is the 'Maamiskiy' or Kuda Miskiy (Old Friday Mosque), which is also known as the oldest monument in Ukulhas, built-in they year 1656, during the reign of Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar. The walls of the mosque were built from coral-stone and the walls are intricately carved with patterns indicating the superior skills of the sculptors in those days. The interior of the mosque was superb and in good condition and was famed for its fine lacquer work and elaborate woodcarvings, but later on, it was replaced by modern roofing sheets due to the appearance of fungus. Now the mosque has been left as a historical site and no acts of worship is carried out in the mosque due to in sufficient space.
